The Posithive Prevention Work Group (GTP+), affiliate to Brazilian Non-Governmental Organizations Association (Abong), was created in December 2000 to be an organization run by people living with AIDS and HIV who could develop prevention work in order to contribute to the confrontation of the epidemic. We encourage activism and education about prevention, human rights and citizenship of seropositive people and the society as a whole, independently of their color, race, belief and sexual orientation. We also encourage solidarity to seropositive people in communitarian institutions.

“To be a reference to governmental and non-governmental institutions that deal with AIDS, HIV and human rights, and to society as a whole, through our activism, ethics, compromise, political positions and effectiveness of our work in prevention and assistance”.

Attended publics
